Dark Revenance
A brutal mixture of black metal and death metal. Formed in late 2007 from the ashes of Serpentaria, Dark Revenance are a of a much darker, faster, more extreme brand of metal. Mixing the ideology of despair, anti christianity and misanthropy of black metal, the agression and violence of death metal and the mournful eulogies of doom, Dark Revenance aim to create a unique fusion of these genres.
The band originally started as a three piece, consisting of Judas, Lazarus and Rich, the band started writing material but things didnt really start coming together until early 2008 when the frontman of The Furious Horde; Ruptured Souls joined on bass guitar.
The band to date have recorded 2 demos and 1 single and have played a handful of shows around essex and southampton.
